Since
1992 our company has been equipped with a tool for piece
part grinding of wire rods.
| In
2000 we modernized our machines up to state-of-the-art
technology.

With this device, wires from 4.5 to 14 mm can be grinded
and polished. Depending on expenditure and type of wire,
the cutting rate has a diameter of 0.01 to 0.3 mm (per
cycle). Surface qualities up to Rt = 5 mm can be reached.Depending
on wire quality, diameter and cut, the maximum wire chart
speed is up to 60 m/min.

The
belt grinding of wires offers more flexibility for applications
in the wire industry (elimination of scale, fissures,
decarburization, oxides and realization of very good surfaces),
while the grinding and polishing devices can be operated
independently from one another. Additionally, the wire
grinding technology is less harmful for the environment,
because, as is well-known from the field of pickling technology,
no disposal of acids and alkaline solutions has to be
done here.
